A book about handlettering and typography

Together with WeAreYawn and João Neves, I contributed to the book You Can Always Make It, a guide to creative handlettering and type design. The book presents 37 unique alphabets, designed to inspire both beginners and experienced lettering enthusiasts.
Handlettering is all about personal expression, and this book showcases a wide range of styles—from serif and sans-serif typefaces to elegant script fonts, dynamic brush lettering, and even decorative fantasy alphabets. In addition to complete alphabets, the book also includes ligatures, special characters, and practical guides to enhance typographic compositions.
For my part, I designed 12 handcrafted alphabets, each created using everyday tools, making lettering accessible to everyone. The process started with hand-drawn sketches before being carefully digitized.
This project highlights my approach to lettering and typography, balancing creativity with structure to develop unique and expressive letterforms.
